An Area for Further Research

Compared with Bogotá and Buenaventura, relatively little academic research has examined the history and contemporary experience of Muslim communities in Medellín and the wider Antioquia region. Jusur hopes to encourage greater scholarly attention to Muslim life in this important and understudied part of Colombia.
